The following is a series of screen shots of the Pompeii Project. It showed in late 1995 at the DeYoung Museum in San Francisco, where it was a big attraction. A room full of people could see it on a projection screen, while one person with an HMD navigated. It ran on a Silicon Graphics Onyx-4, with the 4400 chips and an the (then) new Infinite Reality graphics accelerator.
